Carlos Santos is a Peruvian-Spanish author and speaker. In 2025, he earned a PhD in Philosophy, focusing on philosophy of religion, ethics, and philosophical anthropology. His doctoral research explored Charles Taylor’s thought and its connection to belief and unbelief in God.

His love for philosophy began during his bachelor’s studies in English literature and linguistics, and later deepened through a master’s degree in Philosophy with an emphasis on the history of philosophy and contemporary thought. He is especially drawn to the meeting point between philosophy and theology. While he openly embraces a Christian faith, he is also critical of much of mainstream religiosity and its reluctance to face life’s difficult questions.

He lives in the countryside with his wife and two kids in Toledo, Spain. When he is not reading or writing, he can be found in the gym pumping iron, serving in his local church, or hanging out with friends and family.
